Other pasta mistakes include under-salting water (31 percent), overcooking until mushy (27 percent), and cold plates (24 percent). Nine percent oppose adding ketchup to pasta. Social media influences pasta trends, with 13 percent trying new sauces after seeing them online. Twelve percent want to add cottage cheese after viral videos.
