A new release from Arlo Parks is set for early spring. The songwriter will put out her third studio album, Ambiguous Desire, on April 3, 2026 through Transgressive Records. It follows My Soft Machine, released in 2023.
The first track shared from the album is 2Sided. A music video directed by Molly Burdett accompanies the release. The song focuses on desire and emotional uncertainty, centering on the challenge of putting complicated feelings into words. Another key moment on the album comes from Senses, which features a guest appearance by Sampha.
Ambiguous Desire includes twelve tracks in total. Among them are Blue Disco, Jetta, Get Go, Heaven, Nightswimming, and What If I Say It?. The album continues Parks’ approach to restrained production and inward-looking songwriting, with an emphasis on tone and personal reflection rather than plot-driven narratives.
Between albums, Parks has remained active across creative fields. She released a poetry collection and shared a cover of Jai Paul’s Jasmine. This new record arrives as the next chapter in that ongoing period of work.
